건대 고급진 느낌의 중식당 이우 (Konkuk University Restaurant Lee-Wu)

건대 주변에 깔끔하고 좋은 음식을 하는 곳이 있을까 하고 찾아보다가

캐치테이블에서 이우를 예약하고 가 보았다.  

 

I was looking around to see if there was a place around Konkuk University that was clean and had good food.
I made a reservation for Lee-Wu(이우) at Catch Table App and went there.

 

골목에 있어서 찾기가 어려우니 처음 방문하는 사람은 지도를 잘 보면서 가야한다. 

It is difficult to find as it is located in an alley, so first-time visitors should carefully look at the map.

 

 

건대에는 중국인들도 많이 살고, 중국음식점이 꽤 많다.

 

There are a lot of Chinese people living in near Konkuk University, and there are quite a few Chinese restaurants.

 

다른 중국음식점에 비해 이우는 매장 규모가 생각보다 작았다. 그리고 생각보다 고급진 느낌이 아니었는데 

인테리어를 잘 해놔서 사진을 찍으면 꽤 괜찮게 나온다. 

 

Compared to other Chinese restaurants, Leewu's store size was smaller than expected but pretty. 

 

토요일 낮 12시 경이었고 아직 다른 사람들은 없었다. 

 

It was around 12pm on a Saturday and there was no one else there yet.

 

건대는 밤에 놀기 좋은 곳이라서 그런가보다. 

 

I think it's because near the Konkuk University is a good place to hang out at night.

예약을 해서 그런지 창가 자리로 안내 받았다

 

나는 시그니처 메뉴인 돈마호크 탕수육과 샤오롱바오를 시켰다. 

I ordered the signature menu items, Don Mahawk Sweet and Sour Pork (tang-su-yug) and Xiao Long Bao.

 

양이 많이 보이지는 않지만 둘이 먹기에 부족함은 없었다. 샤오롱바오가 맛있어서 한 접시를 추가했다. 

 

It didn't look like a lot, but it was enough for two people to eat.

 

가격은 인당 2만원 정도로 생각하면 될 것 같다. 

I think the price is around 20,000 won per person.

 

길건너에 중국인들이 하는 큰 중식당도 꽤 가볼만 하지만 

There is a large Chinese restaurant across the street that is run by Chinese people and is also worth a visit.

 

이우는 조용히 식사하기는 괜찮은 것 같다. 

Lee-Wu seems to be okay with eating quietly.

 

음식도 다 맛있는 편이다.
